Pool Activity Guide

Need some ideas for your next pool party or afternoon at the local swimming pool? Here are some ideas to keep everyone busy for hours of water fun.

DIVING COMPETITION 
If the pool has a diving board and is deep enough, see who can perform the best dive into the pool.

BEACHBALL RACING 
Have a few people swim across the pool and push a beachball with their heads. The first person to make it to the end wins.

KING OF THE TUBE 
Have one person float on a tube and the rest try to flip it and send the king into the water. Time it and see who can stay on the longest.

CANNONBALL COMPETITION 
Have a set of judges and see who can make the biggest cannonball splash.

MARCO POLO 
One person closes their eyes and tries to tag the others. The one with their eyes closed yells “Marco” and the rest of the players yell back “Polo” so they can use hearing to tag the others.

WATER VOLLEYBALL 
Play a game of volleyball in the shallow end of the pool. You can play with or without a net.

RING DIVING 
Throw a set of diving rings into the bottom of the pool. If you want to make more of a challenge, fill a clear water bottle and drop it into the pool.
